The MOST wonderful gift of God to humanity is the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the Jewish Messiah, the Holy One of Israel, and the Saviour of the world.
He is the most undemanding God. We are incapable of keeping any rule or regulation or standard of behaviour so He equips us to do the impossible. If you are a believer, Christ indwells you and leads you in ways you would never have thought possible.
On the other hand, if you’re not a believer then you will continue to wallow in feelings of shame, disappointment, inadequacy and guilt. Not all the time, but often enough to feel that life is a hopeless march towards the grave and oblivion.
But that is a lie – a lie told by atheists and others. The truth is wonderful. Life is eternal and glorious if Jesus becomes your Lord. It’s a painless and beautiful experience.
