Why did God allow the Fall? Why didn’t He simply begin again? The opening chapters of Genesis raise profound questions that Scripture does not answer directly. Yet by carefully following the biblical narrative, we can glimpse something of the astonishing wisdom and love of God. These reflections are not presented as doctrine, but as reverent meditation on how Eden, the Cross and God’s purpose for humanity may be connected.
Romans 15 calls Christians to patience and humility toward one another, but it also reminds us that the Scriptures remain the teacher of the Church. Christian love does not mean reshaping God’s Word to fit the spirit of the age; it means submitting ourselves together to the truth that was given for our instruction and our hope.
The Bible is not merely a remarkable book, though it is that in abundance; it is the living Word of God. Those who read it without the Spirit may find curiosities and puzzles, but those who read it with Him find life, because they are not merely reading words, they are meeting a Person.
