Who exactly are the sheep in Matthew 25? They cannot be the glorified Church, yet Jesus welcomes them into the kingdom. Could they reveal that the flock of God is far larger than Christians have sometimes imagined?
As I read Luke’s account of the birth of John the Baptist, I found myself asking a simple but profound question. If God is the Author of every human life, and if every child is known personally by Him from the very beginning, how should that change the way we look at one another? Perhaps the command to love one another begins, not with trying harder, but with learning to see people through the eyes of their Creator.
