Every Child Is First a Thought in the Mind of God

As I read Luke’s account of the birth of John the Baptist, I found myself asking a simple but profound question. If God is the Author of every human life, and if every child is known personally by Him from the very beginning, how should that change the way we look at one another? Perhaps the command to love one another begins, not with trying harder, but with learning to see people through the eyes of their Creator.

The Witness Written Into Creation

Romans 1:20 declares that God’s invisible attributes are clearly seen through creation itself. The universe is not silent or accidental. From the mathematics of the stars to the mystery of life in a seed, creation continually points beyond itself to the eternal power and divine nature of its Creator.
